Kent County Health Department Tobacco
Prevention Program offers several free
services to help you to quit using tobacco
and lead a tobacco free life.

| Telephone support
available Monday through Friday
from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and
Thursdays until 6:30 p.m. For all
other times, please leave a
message. Calls will be returned
within 48 hours. |

| Enrollment Class |
| This free program
is held at the Health Department
and runs every Thursday from 5-6 PM.
Family members or other support
persons are welcome to attend. No
pre-registration required. Please
call the Tobacco Free Helpline for more information. |

| Nicotine Replacement, Chantix and Bupropion Program |
| Free nicotine
replacement, including patches, lozenges, gum, Chantix and Bupropion (a nicotine
free pill to help you to quit
smoking) are offered to those
county residents who qualify. For
more information, call the Tobacco
Free Helpline or come to the
Tobacco Clinic. |

| Talk to a
professional about nicotine
dependence and the latest
treatment options; find out how to
get free nicotine patches or free
Bupropion, get your carbon monoxide
level and blood pressure checked.
Clinic hours: Every Thursday
evening at the Health Department,
3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. No
appointment necessary. Walk-ins
are welcome. |

Awareness Program |

one session program aimed at
educating youth under the age of
eighteen about the dangers of

Mini-grants |
| Are you interested
in helping decrease the problems
related to tobacco use in your
community? You can apply for money
through the Health Department if
you are a non-profit group
interested in focusing an activity
on tobacco prevention. If you have
an idea for an activity, let us
know, or we can assist you with
