Vaping Prevention and Education: Resources for Talking With Students A collection of science-based, standards-mapped classroom resources. These resources were created by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) Center for Tobacco Products and aim to prevent vaping among middle and high school students.
Maryland teens can now use the Live Vape Free (LVF) program for help quitting e-cigarettes. LVF is a free texting program for youth ages 13-17. To sign up for free, Maryland teens can text VAPEFREE to 873-373.
Diabetes Prevention Resources
34% of adults on the Mid-Shore have PREdiabetes, the condition that often leads to type 2 diabetes. The good news? It’s preventable. Take a 1-minute risk test to see if you are at high risk for prediabetes. If you are medium or high risk, enroll in the CDC National Diabetes Prevention Program.
