Outpatient Addiction Services
Kent County Health Department provides the role of Local Addictions Authority for Kent County and no longer provides direct care for outpatient addictions. We do however continue to provide the following services:
- 8-505 Assessments that are court-ordered.
- Jail Based Services
- Referrals to AA / NA Meetings
- Family Information
- Urinalysis – TCA through Social Services as needed
- Referral Services
Naloxone Training –
Application for training
Kent County Behavioral Health offers free Naloxone training the first Monday of every month at 300 Scheeler Road at 5:30 pm. This training is for anyone who is, or knows anyone, that takes narcotics for pain management. This includes people who suffer from addiction, chronic pain, the elderly, and households with young children that may gain access to the medication.
